Take a photo. Track every calorie.

Fit Shapes is a calorie and macro tracker. Designed to be the easiest and most premium way to track what you eat. For those who care about aesthetics.

A one-minute video about Fit Shapes, with music and no speech. Meal photos flash past, labeled calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber. Then the title: “Track calories and macros. With a plan that adapts.” The app logs a meal from one scan, then by search, by typing, and by voice. A month of logged days fills in, the weight trend settles, and the weekly check-in proposes a new target that you accept. It ends with people training, and the Fit Shapes logo.

Things you use every day should be as functional as they are beautiful. If you want to reach your fitness goals, this is going to be one of those apps you’ll open often.

Most calorie trackers are inundated with ads and annoying pop-ups. Logging takes a dozen taps, and the apps are slow and ugly. I wanted something different. Simple, usable, beautiful. Something I didn’t dread opening three to five times a day.

I’ve been designing software for more than 15 years. Fit Shapes is the tracker I wanted for myself. And now I’m excited to share it with you. If you care about the quality of things you buy, this is for you. I hope you enjoy it.

Key metrics at a glance.

Fit Shapes shows your calories consumed against your active and resting burn. As the day goes on, your picture updates.

Illustrative Fit Shapes Today screen ending at 1,680 calories eaten and 2,050 calories burned against a 1,810-calorie target, with progress toward targets of 140 grams of protein, 62 grams of fat, and 190 grams of carbohydrates, 21 grams of fiber and 38 grams of sugar, and cards for Energy Balance and Trend Weight above the food log.
  1. 0 eaten915 burned

Your day is already in motion.

You’ve already burned some resting calories by the time you wake up. Go for a lift and active calories appear alongside them.

  2. 540 eaten1,120 burned

    Breakfast, logged.

Scan your smoothie bowl, and Fit Shapes logs its calories and macros for you.

  3. 1,680 eaten2,050 burned

    Dinner, logged.

Three meals in, you’re 130 calories under today’s target.

Targets that keep up with you.

Each week, Fit Shapes compares what you logged with your weight trend and proposes adjustments as your pace drifts.

See where you’re headed

Forecast how far you are from your goals based on your current pace and progress. Fit Shapes focuses on trends so one heavy weigh-in doesn’t change your trajectory.

New targets, your call

When your pace drifts, you get a proposal for calories and macros. Accept it and your targets change from today, or keep the ones you have.

Questions?

Is the app really this clicky?

Yes. We spent a significant amount of time on the sound design. Different actions make different sounds. If that’s not for you, open Account in the app and tap Sounds & haptics. You can keep only the sounds or only the haptics, or turn both off.

How much does Fit Shapes cost?

Try it free for 14 days. Then $29.99 a year or $4.99 a month. The App Store and Google Play show the price in your currency.

How does photo logging work?

Take a photo of your meal. Fit Shapes identifies each food, estimates the portion, and adds the meal to your log with calories and macros. By default, the camera closes and the meal logs itself. To see and adjust each item right after a scan, turn on Advanced logging in Account. You can also change any item later. Unified Capture

How do Adaptive Targets work?

Once a week, Fit Shapes compares the food you logged with your weight trend. If your pace is faster or slower than the one you chose, it proposes new calorie and macro targets. You decide whether to accept them. Adaptive Targets

Does Fit Shapes work with Apple Health or Health Connect?

Yes. Fit Shapes reads your weight, body fat, and active energy from Apple Health on iPhone, and from Health Connect on Android.

Can I bring my history from another app?

Yes. Fit Shapes imports your food log and weigh-ins from MacroFactor, Cronometer, Lose It!, Cal AI, and MyFitnessPal. Open Account in the app and tap Import data. If your weigh-ins are already in Apple Health or Health Connect, Fit Shapes syncs them when you connect it. How to import your history

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Your data belongs to you. You can export your entire history as one CSV file at any time, even after your subscription ends. Your data

Do you sell my data or show ads?
